Normally we send only “I am alive” notifications predefined numbers a day. But if there is an event, and you want to follow your assets more precisely, than location information can be set to almost continous. These events can be many, but there is some exapmle:

  • when it starts to move
  • when it stopped
  • when temperature reaches a certain level
  • etc.

What does it mean in real life?

I have a high value bike, and when I store it, I set my AELETIS to alert me when it starts to move.

I have a pet, I dog location information once a day, but when I do not find my dog, than I activate tracking, and I get accurate, real-time location datato find my little dog.

I have a logistics company delivering refigerated assets. I need to follow all of my boxes individually, and need alert and location in case there is a temperature anomaly.

Reliable transportation, logistics was and is always a key question in our society. By the constant development of modern electric technology, we found new and new solutions to make logistic industry more reliable, more informative as a minor error in logistics can cause incredible problems, can affect lives, hospital patients, medications, food supply safety, primary energy needs, but also from loss in car industry, to loss in package forwarders, has very negative effects. There are many tracking and storage solutions, but we focus on tracking in our development. For tracking, there are two widely used options for customers: GPS or GSM based trackers. GPS is more accurate, but does not work indoor/tunnel environment and it can easily be jammed. GSM is another solution, but its accuracy is from 50 – 1500m, and coverage in the world is limited, but it is very hard to jammed as it is a protected technology by private and government agencies around the world. Both technology shares one common problem: with a normal battery, these devices only work for days, or the battery size makes the device expensive, therefor customers cannot use these in large numbers. Other problem of GPS is the one-way communication, it needs other communication (2G/3G/4G) technology to share the device location

OUR ENTIRELY NEW SOLUTION:

TRAXEN:10+ years operation:  based on low power NBIoT communication and our extensive IoT experience we are capable to provide a decade long operation life with real-time tracking[1].Very small size: based on our IoT and PCB design experience we are capable of providing a tracking device less than 27mm in diameter and 8mm width (without battery)Two-way communication: TRAXEN tracking device software can be updated, put to sleep mode, ask for status report, update alarm thresholds, parameters, update firmware for further optimization and technology follow up.Extreme-long storage life: when it is not needed TRAXEN devices can be put to a special sleep mode where they can be still awakened remotely. This sleep mode using minimal energy.Very cheap price: due to TRAXEN small size and lowest energy need, the device cost together with battery can be minimized. Also NBIoT modems costs two or three times less than GPS/GSM modem in the future[2]
